Born in 1966, my early interests in wildlife where as a bird watcher around our home in Warwickshire. I later became fascinated by photography and have worked as a professional nature photographer and guide since 1995. I have contributed to, and co-managed, numerous conservation projects including Wild Wonders of Europe, Tooth and Claw and 2020VISION.
Previously widely travelled, I am now focused on documenting the stories of a wilder Scotland and its wildlife from my base in the Cairngorms National Park, working with colleagues on SCOTLAND: The Big Picture.
