I started taking photographs of wildlife when I was 9 years old. I have been privileged to have experienced many encounters with wildlife. While most of my wildlife photography takes place in Scotland I am a keen traveller and have observed and photographed wildlife in Africa, Australia and North America. I have developed a particular interest in learning about and photographing the insects and spiders of the UK. I attained a Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society in November 2012 with a natural history panel of prints of insects and spiders. I have been entering national and international photographic exhibitions since the age of 15 and hold the EFIAP distinction.
